Job Description

OVERVIEW:

  • To be the subject matter expert (SME) in providing ideas to develop new product pipelines.
  • To support the Product Development and Business Development team in introducing new products.
  • Job authorities, if applicable, as defined in all the QMS-related documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conducting market research to identify trends, competitor products, and opportunities in the medical device industry.
  • Conduct user needs assessments to gather insights from end users in the clinical setting through surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Understand and analyse users’ needs, pain points, and preferences.
  • Work closely with the product development team to prioritise features and improvements that align with user needs and company business goals.
  • Support the development of functional prototypes for user testing and validation.
  • Gather user feedback on the prototypes and identify opportunities for further improvement.
  • Support the launching of new products in the clinical setting and monitor the products’ performance in the market.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with regular follow-ups with end users.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with KOLs, clinical teams, and other key personnel involved in the introduction of new products.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the superior.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience in the hospital/medical setting.
  • Relevant working experience in the pharmaceutical / medical device industry is preferred.
  • Medical knowledge in CSSD, OT, or Dialysis will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board.
