SENIOR EXECUTIVE - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Job Description

OVERVIEW  

• To assist and support the Superior in market research, business planning, product sourcing, and the launching of new products in both existing and new market segments, locally and internationally. 
• To support supplier-related activities, including price comparison and analysis, order coordination, audit, and monitoring of supply performance. 
• Job authorities, if applicable, as defined in all the QMS-related documents 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

1. Support & assist the identification of potential products for expansion of the company’s product offerings through market research and data gathering including conducting market and competitor analysis to understand market positioning and opportunities. 
2. Support the definition and documentation of product requirements, specifications, sourcing needs and assist in product sourcing activities, including coordination with suppliers and maintenance of supplier information. 
3. Collaborate with internal teams and subsidiaries, to support product development, procurement and/or sourcing activities, including preparation and maintenance of product development plans and timelines. 
4. Assist in managing product pre-launch and post-launch activities, including coordination of procurement, tracking, and market acceptance analysis. 
5. Gather and compile internal and external feedback to support product life cycle management, including maintaining proper documentation related to product development, sourcing, and lifecycle activities. 
6. Support monitoring of market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis activities. 
7. Coordinate with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure required documentation and compliance-related information is available for product registration and maintenance. 
8. Establish, update, and maintain Item Master data and product SKU information accurately. 
9. Assist and support internal and external audit activities, including the preparation of documents and records required. 
10. Any other tasks assigned by Superior and/or Senior Management.

REQUIREMENTS  

Education:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Chemistry, Marketing or equivalent  

Work Experience:  

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a medical device / pharmaceutical product development position or similar roles and responsibilities is preferred.  

Technical and Professional Knowledge:  

• Medical regulatory knowledge will be an added advantage
