Job Description
OVERVIEW
- Deliver analytical insight and governance oversight to enhance planning, control, and performance management across IT operations.
- Manage budget governance, resource and manpower planning, software license administration, and operational reporting to strengthen decision-making and operational discipline.
- Promote efficiency, standardization, and compliance within IT support functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan and govern IT operational support activities aligned with departmental objectives.
2. Manage IT budget planning, expenditure tracking, variance analysis, and cost optimization reporting.
3. Administer organization-wide software license management, including compliance control, renewal governance, and inventory accuracy.
4. Analyse and report operational data covering budget utilization, headcount, resource usage, spare parts lifecycle, and service performance.
5. Develop and standardize IT operational dashboards, reports, and documentation to maintain data consistency and integrity.
6. Oversee IT procurement, inventory management, asset lifecycle control, and spare parts aging analysis.
7. Govern workforce planning, resource allocation, and manpower data management.
8. Identify process gaps and implement data-driven improvements across IT operational workflows.
9. Enforce governance and quality control over IT operational records and reporting processes to meet audit and compliance requirements.
10. Lead implementation of operational change initiatives, tools adoption, and performance measurement practices within IT Operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or related discipline.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT operations support, IT administration, operational analytics, budgeting, reporting, and governance-related roles.
- Knowledge of IT operations governance, budget planning, cost control, and operational reporting practices.
- Working knowledge of software license management, IT asset lifecycle management, and procurement coordination.
- Proficiency in data analysis, dashboard development, and performance reporting using MS Excel or equivalent reporting tools.
- Understanding of workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational performance measurement frameworks.
