Job Description
Job Purpose
Govern enterprise-wide systems, infrastructure, and end-user computing operations to ensure the delivery of resilient, secure, and scalable IT services.
Establish the operational strategies and governance frameworks necessary to maintain service continuity, rigorous risk control, and regulatory compliance.
Direct cross-domain operational planning and incident command to optimize resources and align IT capabilities with business-critical corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Define and enforce enterprise operational strategies and service performance standards across SYS, EUC, and INF domains to ensure reliable IT service delivery.
2. Approve and govern infrastructure architecture decisions and operating models to maintain global scalability, security, and operational resilience.
3. Oversee enterprise service availability and risk indicators to prioritize remediation efforts and safeguard business continuity.
4. Establish governance frameworks and compliance control mechanisms to manage operational and regulatory risk exposure effectively.
5. Direct enterprise-level incident command and recovery operations for high-impact disruptions to restore critical services and minimize business impact.
6. Validate and mandate root cause analysis (RCA) outcomes and corrective action plans to eliminate systemic operational vulnerabilities.
7. Lead long-term capacity planning and succession initiatives to sustain organizational readiness and future infrastructure scalability.
8. Authorize service change strategies and modernization roadmaps to align infrastructure capabilities with digital transformation objectives.
9. Govern vendor performance and contractual obligations across infrastructure domains to ensure service value and commercial accountability.
10. Advise executive leadership on operational health, risk landscapes, and strategic initiatives to facilitate informed enterprise-level decision-making.
Qualification and Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field; professional certifications in infrastructure, security, or service management (ITIL, CISSP, etc.) are an advantage.
2. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user computing (EUC), with 4–5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
3. Proven ability to define and govern enterprise-level operating models and approve large-scale architecture and operational design decisions.
4. Deep expertise in availability management, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and service continuity frameworks to ensure production stability.
5. Strong command of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and financial oversight, including budget planning and cost optimization.
6. Demonstrated leadership in enterprise incident command, stakeholder management at executive levels, and the development of succession plans within technical functions.
