Job Description

OVERVIEW  

Responsible for the overall security of the Company. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  1. Assist in daily security administrative tasks to ensure effective coordination and smooth flow of security operations. 
  2. Prepare work orders and escalate to the Facility Department for any infrastructure or equipment requiring maintenance or repair.  
  3. Submit ITSD applications for cameras, desktops, CCTV, or any other items related to MIS support and maintenance. 
  4. Respond promptly to any guardhouse security issues involving visitors, contractors, or suppliers, and manage security-related systems including VMS, E-Transfer, E-Disposal, E-Sample, E-Shipment, and Bossnet. 
  5. Conduct security daily briefings for Security guards who station at guardhouse to ensure understanding of duties and compliance with company standards. 
  6. Manage contractor pass issuance, including document verification, printing, and record maintenance. 
  7. Review security footage to identify any trespassing, suspicious activity, or employee misconduct, and report findings to the Security Executive. 
  8. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all security-related records, including reports, checklists, passes, and vehicle registrations. 
  9. Make sure 5S is properly practiced and maintained in the working area to keep it clean, organized, and safe.  

 

REQUIREMENTS  

Education:  

  • Diploma in Business Studies, Management, Communication, Human Resources or equivalent 

 

Work Experience:  

  • Minimum 2 years experience in security management preferably in manufacturing 

 

Technical and Professional Knowledge: 

  • Knowledge of security procedures, surveillance systems, and audit requirements to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. 
  • Able to respond effectively to security incidents & conduct preliminary investigations 
  • Basic understanding of HR policies, service quality standards, and documentation processes related to security operations. 
  • Capable of monitoring outsourced security services & ensuring vendors meet contractual and performance expectations. 
  • Proactive in identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall factory security and operational efficiency.
