ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER - QUALITY CONTROL AND POST TREATMENT

OVERVIEW

• The incumbent is responsible to assist the Packing Manager in maintaining & troubleshooting the daily packing process and product quality deficiency. Ensuring all production / packing processes are accordance to ISO 9001 / HACCP / ISO13485 / GMP / Halal requirements. Managing and overseeing the entire operation of Online Packing (QCP), Offline Packing (OQC) and Post Treatment (PTM).
  
  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business/ Operations

• Executing manufacturing quality procedures, standards, and specifications
• Planning and coordinating quality and packaging activities as well as the work of subordinates
• Recommending process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency and minimize wastage
• Conducting tests and inspections of products, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
• Reviewing customer requirements and meeting quality expectations
• Coordinate with Manager on PTM, OQC, QCP overall strategic planning.
• Monitor overall quality and output of PTM, QC and Packing and ensuring customer requirements are met and achieve the KPI target.
• Review and analyse the PTM, QC and Packing reports.
• Review and control overall gloves inventory.
• Manage and ensure the current Microsoft D365, ERP, Floor system and others smart manufacturing system data integrity and fully utilize. Suggest for improvement from time to time.
• Constantly look into improving of productivity and efficiency by apply the scientific method such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and etc.
• Review and update the quality system procedures and work instructions for the PTM, QC and Packing.
• Review and analyse the daily, weekly and monthly planning for PTM, QC and Packing activity.
• Review monthly duty roster for the PTM, QC and Packing.
• Prepare and submit a monthly report to Manager.
• Conduct and review the department meeting weekly and monthly.
• Ensure company's regulation and safety and health regulation are followed.
• Ensure Covid 19 regulation, SOP and practice are followed and review for improvement.
• To improve on the packing working environment and ensuring staff are well motivated to perform duty at optimum level.
  
  

People/ Stakeholder Management

• Handling multiple production lines preferably for a medium to large-scale manufacturing organization with more than 100 direct or indirect staff
• Managing staff's performance and coaching.
• Identify the training needs to ensure subordinates are well trained to carry out their functions effectively.
• Ensure sufficient manpower for the department to operate effectively and efficiently.
• Building cooperative working relationships inter-department

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or any Equivalent.
  
  

Work Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of working experience in process manufacturing.
  
  

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Manufacturing technologies and processes and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Operational excellence principles and tools (e.g. Value streams, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Tools involved in resource planning and execution.
• Quality control and troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Time study and manpower utilization calculation.
