Job Description

Job Purpose

Drive and oversee packing operations across multiple lines or sections to achieve production targets, shipment deadlines, and optimal material utilization.

Lead process optimization, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational reliability.

Manage staffing, training, inventory, and compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal standards while providing performance and operational insights to senior management.

Responsibilities

1. Strategize and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly packing schedules to meet production targets, shipment deadlines, and material utilization goals across multiple lines or sections.

2. Optimize machine performance, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment calibration to maximize OEE and minimize downtime.

3. Lead cross-functional coordination with SCM, WHS, QCP/OQC, Shipping, PSI, and other departments to align packing operations with finished goods availability and logistics plans.

4. Drive process improvement initiatives, implementing Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.

5. Analyze production metrics, rejection trends, and operational gaps to develop corrective actions and long-term solutions.

6. Direct staffing and manpower planning, including manpower studies, rostering, performance appraisals, and disciplinary management.

7. Oversee training programs for new and existing staff, including SOPs, quality checks, equipment usage, safety, and 5S practices, and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.

8. Manage inventory of packaging materials, consumables, and critical tools to maintain uninterrupted operations and control costs.

9. Prepare and present comprehensive operational, compliance, and performance reports to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

10. Enforce compliance with GMP, ISO standards, internal SOPs, and audit requirements, maintaining discipline, documentation, and process integrity across the packing operations.

Qualification and Experience

1. Bachelor�s Degree in any related field which related
