Job Description
Job Purpose
Apply Lean Manufacturing methodology, processes in planning, executing process overhaul and/or upgrade programs for the organization.
Facilitate a team of employees and responsible for coordinating and implementing Improvement initiatives across the organisation
Responsibilities
1. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems to achieve Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.
2. Research and implement new manufacturing technologies to improve process capability, production volume, and quality standards.
3. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet productivity and performance targets.
4. Apply statistical methods and data analysis to reduce process variation and optimize performance.
5. Conduct operational analysis of manufacturing processes to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
6. Drive problem-solving activities to improve quality, reduce waste, and eliminate costs of poor performance.
7. Partner with process owners to deliver sustainable process improvements and prepare performance indexes/reports.
8. Plan and coordinate training programs to support execution of continuous improvement tools and strategies.
9. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance and progress of improvement projects.
10. Coach, mentor, and transfer best practices across teams and departments.
Qualification and Experience
1. Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline preferably in Industrial, Process, Mechanical or Manufacturing
2. Fresh Graduates or 1 year working experience.
3. Preferably familiar with Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) projects.
4. Process Improvement skills with previous continuous improvement experience.
5. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
6. Proven ability to lead change and motivate at all levels within the organization and deliver business transformation results.
7. Solid technical skills using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and AutoCAD.
