Job Description
OVERVIEW
- To oversee daily OQC & PTM activities, manpower arrangements and ensure on time shipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all OQC & PTM process are consistent with written work instruction and procedure in order to comply with ISO9001/13485/GMP requirements.
- Ensure sufficient manpower for each shift to minimize disruptions to operations.
- To plan and organize the products for checking and packing.
- Monitor and follow up on the performance and accuracy of the subordinates.
- To handle and follow up on the problems forwarded by both OQC & PTM Supervisors.
- Ensure all checklist & reports in OQC & PTM are completed and reviewed on timely basis.
- Prepare and review monthly reports and submit to manager.
- Ensure the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are achieved through proper control of entire OQC & PTM. To investigate and discuss with the team and Manager if not achieved.
- To ensure the shipment schedules are meeting the deadline.
- To highlight the defect found in OQC & PTM to Production Executive/Engineer and / or Manager.
- To inform and follow up with Engineering for any repairing work required in OQC & PTM department
- Ensure good housekeeping, labelling and proper handling, storage, segregation and preservation of the product at all related areas in accordance to SOP.
- Ensure Supervisors are performing their duties effectively according to their written Job Description.
- Ensure subordinates of all levels are competent in performing their duties by organizing and / or providing regular training (both on-job and classroom).
- To identify training needs for sub-ordinates to improve staff capability.
- To plan preventive maintenance schedule for all machine available at OQC & PTM area and to ensure all equipment is calibrated accordingly.
- Conduct regular meeting/ discussion with Supervisor and Group Leader.
- Perform appraisal for new workers before confirmation, midyear and year end for Supervisor & below.
- Coordinate with and assist HR Dept. on all employee – related matters.
- Ensure compliance of work safety practice.
- Enforcing Company Rules and Regulations.
- To identify and rectify problem related to system such as D365, Floor System, Web Admin and floor.
- Lead the team to do monthly stock take planning and arrangements. Generate counting journal and investigate any variance found.
- Review SOP and WI on timely basis and revise whenever necessary.
- Lead the team during Internal/External Audit.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment or fresh graduate.
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
- Able to do planning and organizing work.
