Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Plan, coordinate, and implement HSE measures to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace that meets performance targets, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business / Operations
Regulatory Compliance & Safety Standards
- Stay updated on S&H standards and inform management and S&H Committee of relevant changes.
- Advise on S&H measures to maintain a safety workplace.
- Act as liaison with DOSH and other regulatory agencies.
- Address emerging health issues (diseases, epidemics) and propose action plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal and site-specific safety protocols, incl. PTW and High-Risk Permit verification
- Address and resolve citations from authorities; update policies to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Organize and coordinate S&H committee meeting; ensure follow-ups through meeting minutes.
Incident Management
- Lead workplace incidents and accidents investigation, root cause analysis, and reporting.
- Recommend corrective/preventive actions for personnel and property safety.
Inspection, Monitoring & Auditing
- Conduct weekly plant and office facilities inspections using checklists, address safety issues.
- Inspect and test safety, housekeeping and fire-fighting equipment; schedule servicing as required.
- Audit scheduled waste management for compliance.
- Monitor pest control activities.
Training & Awareness
- Organize training on fire drills, first aid, chemical spills and safety and fire-fighting equipment
- Conduct systematic HSE training as SME across departments
- Upon new safety or fire-fighting equipment delivery:
- Identify installation locations.
- Ensure proper setup.
- Train supervisors and executives.
- Provide reference manuals (if available).
- Ensure cascading training is conducted and documented
Facility & Housekeeping Management
- Ensure clean, pest-free and safe working conditions.
- Maintain toilet hygiene and manage landscaping
- Coordinate timely resolution of facility issues.
- Log and track defects using CMMS.
Emergency Response & Special Conditions
- Must be able to work at height and responding in high-pressure scenarios
People / Stakeholder Management
- Foster safety culture and continuous improvement across all levels.
- Guide, coach and train subordinates (if any).
- Ensure employees follow HSE practices through training delivery.
- Navigating and influencing stakeholders from various backgrounds to promote HSE awareness

Perform other duties as assigned by superior within scope.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or any related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing environment or fresh graduates.
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Systematic & logical thinking.
- Excellent planning & organizing.
Certification / License Requirement:
- Certified Safety and Health Officer
