Job Description

Job Purpose

Execute sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, and vendor management for assigned categories.

Conduct market research, analyse spend data, manage supplier engagements, and support contract negotiations with guidance from the Strategic Sourcing Team Lead or Procurement Manager/Assistant Manager.

Align procurement activities with business needs and comply with company policies, serving as a bridge between stakeholders and suppliers.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and execute end-to-end RFQ/RFP activities, supporting sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.

2. Conduct market research, supplier profiling, and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.

3. Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and risks, and provide summaries for decision-making.

4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and end-users to align sourcing and procurement requirements.

5. Carry out pricing, payment terms, delivery negotiations, and support contract drafting and review.

6. Maintain contract records, track renewals, ensure compliance, and escalate unresolved supplier issues.

7. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations.

8. Track supplier performance using KPIs, support review meetings, and follow up on action items.

9. Maintain accurate procurement records, prepare routine reports, and assist in updating SOPs and work instructions.

10. Comply with company policies and regulations for procurement activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualification and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Material Engineering preferred for MRO/project sourcing.

2. Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably with strategic sourcing exposure.

3. Skilled in market analysis, cost evaluation, and supplier proposal assessment.

4. Proficient in ERP/P2P systems and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

5. Demonstrates critical thinking, proactive approach, and ability to make decisions or escalate as needed.

6. Basic understanding of ESG principles in procurement and supports ethical sourcing, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
