Job Description


  • Responsible for the overall security of the Company.
  • Coordinating and managing security operations and safety activities within the premises and staff to adhere to regulatory/organization compliance
  • Executing and imposing effective security measures and procedures
    • Identifying gaps in security operations and providing recommendation for improvements
    • Applying mitigation threats and risks against people, assets and information
    • Reviewing workorders and ensuring workorders escalated to Facility
    • Ensuring immediate response to onsite security issues, provide leadership inputs and guidance and monitor resolution and closure – reviewing misconduct reports and ensuring reports escalated to Industrial Relations
  • Assisting to monitor and supervise selection, evaluation and governance of security personnel (including interviews, reference checks, background checks with Police/ Home Ministry, etc.), to ensure that only personnel with the right qualifications, experience and skills are recruited
  • Developing, implementing and enforcing a structured & comprehensive training program for all security personnel to ensure they are familiar with all company rules & regulations.
    • Conducting the security induction for outsourced security personnel.
    • Conducting in-house training and on the job training for security guards periodically and to ensure the security guards comply with the company's requirement.
  • Ensuring the enforcement of all security policies by regularly observing & monitoring performance of security personnel including review attendance, and conduct knowledge assessment
    • Conducting security audit to ensure compliance on prevailing laws including social compliance
  • Ensuring security personnel who are in regular contact with visitors have good customer service and can portray a good & professional image of the Company
  • Ensuring proper management of all documentations (e.g. forms, checklists, reports, etc.) are completed and systematically filed


  • Degree in Public Admin, Administrative Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in security management preferably in manufacturing
  • Strategic HR procedures and policies
  • Security compliance to audit procedures
  • Security procedures and surveillance equipment
  • Managing Security Functions - Able to propose, implement & enforce security procedures.
  • Managing Security Emergencies - Able to deal and coordinate with Security Company, police and local authorities effectively
