Job Description
OVERVIEW
- Accountable for Spare Part store.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support Manager in order to achieve smooth and efficient running of Spare Part store.
- Ensuring process control are established and adhered to handle stock movement and inventory control according to procedures and work instruction.
- Also to contribute of idea and improvement for department and to liaise closely with inter department’s personnel for effective and efficient supporting roles.
- Ensure stocks items are neatly arranged with proper segregation, identification and labelling.
- Ensure all spare parts movements are instantly and accurately verified and documented.
- Overseeing stock control and order processing to ensure adequate stock level and replenish stock items when necessary. Review regularly on the Min & Max quantity.
- To develop, execute and enhance system and process flow time to time.
- To supervise daily store operation to ensure effective supply and inventory system.
- Communicating well with other department and to give necessary support to achieve organizational goals.
- To train, develop and motivate subordinates to achieve high performance standards. To optimize operation efficiency and reduce processing waste.
- To initiate problem-solving and trouble-shooting processes and reduce operation related problems and delays.
- To ensure proper upkeep, storage and effective warehouse arrangement for efficient identification.
- To ensure warehouse is continuously well organized with •working environment. Ensure all store facilities, equipment and tools are properly maintained and comply with safety and environment guidelines.
- Ensure daily cycle count activity is ‘carried out to maintain stock accuracy.
- To review and update the quality system procedures and work instructions for the department.
- To ensure subordinates are well trained to carry out their function effectively.
- Periodically review the team achievement on Key Performance Indicators (KPl's) relating to warehouse and to come out with necessary improvement plan.
- Any other tasks assigned by the superior.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistic Management or any equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in warehouse management.
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
- Good ERP / SAP system and inventory management skills.
- Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
