Job Description
Job Purpose
Manage and maintain stock code number creation within the ERP system to support accurate product and inventory records.
Lead packaging material design for company products, OEM items, and artwork development, including layout and documentation requirements.
Coordinate fitting tests, BQ proposals, container loading calculations, and container loading verification with Packing and Warehouse teams to ensure compliant and efficient packaging execution.
Responsibilities
1. Create, design, and revise packaging material artwork for OEM brands, ensuring quality and timely completion.
2. Coordinate packaging material development with internal departments and external parties, including Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, Planning, and Purchasing.
3. Liaise with Purchasers and Planners to ensure packaging materials are produced and delivered within required timelines.
4. Conduct packaging material fitting tests and validate board quality against customer specifications and reliability standards.
5. Coordinate fitting test requests with Packing, Sales teams, and customers.
6. Propose suitable board material types based on supplier recommendations and conduct required tests such as BCT, safety margin, and stacking tests.
7. Investigate packaging material quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and improvement actions with relevant stakeholders.
8. Maintain and update packaging material codes, artwork status, and tracking records in ERP or related systems.
9. Follow up on outstanding tasks, provide training to subordinates where applicable, and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Artwork Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, fresh graduates are considered.
3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
4. Capable of identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities in purchases.
