MANAGER/ASSISTANT MANAGER - FINANCE, SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE

Job Description

OVERVIEW

• Responsible for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracking of cost back to underlying activities.
• Supervise and overall responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual stock take for the Group.
• To ensure data & information synchronisation between costing & accounts team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide mentoring and guidance to manager and below in order for them to discharge their roles and responsibilities fully, timely and effectively.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Investigate & coordinate reconciliation of cycle counting variances and resolve issues with process owners.
• Verification of Production batch order, staging table errors, cost roll up & etc.
• Verifying the bill of material (BOM) performing validation and cost roll up where required.
• Report and investigate on variances encountered on monthly basis for management action.
• Inventory report validation to Manufacturing Account & Balance Sheet to ensure data consistency.
• Simulate customer/product profitability with new product cost or changes to product cost or customer price.
• Report on Inventory ageing, Inventory taking variances and etc. for management action.
• Any other duties or tasks as assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification in accounting i.e. CPA, ACCA or CIMA or its equivalent.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 8 years cost accounting working experiences.
• Working experiences in manufacturing outfit preferably fast moving products.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Proficient in the requirement of FRS and costing methods.
• Working experiences in integrated real-time ERP systems a must.
