Job Description

OVERVIEW

  • Assisting with the development of innovative organization learning initiatives i.e., consultation with department heads to identify employees’ career and succession planning
  • Executing development programs for the organization
  • Staying up to date with current practices, training methods, learning tools, deployment devices and technologies
  • Assisting in tactical development and maintenance of Hartalega’s competency framework
  • Assisting in developing and implementing structured career pathing for all job grades, aligned with the Competency Development Program and success profiles
  • Managing and reviewing the work of training providers or consultants, set expectations and priorities and monitor outcomes
  • Shaping and maintaining partnerships with external training providers and internal trainers including Production Training Department (PTD) to develop and deploy learning and development programs
  • Assisting in developing, implementing and evaluating learning interventions/programs including customized trainings that are endorsed by management or any other soft skills program as required to equip employees with critically required skills and competencies to support the Company’s growth
  • Sourcing and evaluating the relevant training or Talent Development programs
  • Focusing on an effective learning framework that is effective & scalable, e.g., hybrid framework to embed web-based introduction learning, physical or virtual classroom simulation and on-the-job (OJT) application.
  • Assisting with the execution of succession planning - facilitating and providing inputs in identifying critical positions, facilitating discussions with business leaders and HRBPs to identify successors, assess readiness and determine development plans
  • Managing Young Professionals program including progress monitoring progress and arrangement of job rotation
  • Managing internship programme including review of interns’ learning plans with department managers and review of interns’ project reports
  • Managing the conversion of learning modules (e.g., SOJT) and uploading into the learning system
  • Managing the Education Assistance Scheme (EAS) – managing information of employees bonded to the company, processing the reimbursement, managing EAS application and coordinating with Payroll on employee tendering resignation during the bonded period

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in any field, preferably Human Resources Management/ Development/ Business Admin)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Talent management/ Learning & Development experience
  • Learning & development program management - Learning and Talent design principles, methods and tools e.g.: Talent management diagnosis and systems, competency diagnosis and models, assessment tools
  • Compliance, auditing approaches, evaluation methods and skills e.g., 9-box grid, 70-20-10 rule
  • Instructional design - Instructional Technologies and Methodologies
  • Mapping and matching of skills requirements
  • Contract and vendor management
  • Career coaching
  • Succession planning
