Job Description
Job Purpose
Manage and maintain the plant’s control systems and instrumentation to achieve high reliability and effective operations, covering troubleshooting, modifications, and repairs, while leading the Engineering – Control & Instrumentation team and enforcing company policies, ISO requirements, and safety practices.
Responsibilities
1. Execute maintenance and improvement activities for GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM, PLC controllers, sensors, and automation systems.
2. Carry out daily checklist and inspection of all automation systems and related machinery.
3. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, tuning, and alignment of automation and control systems to maintain accuracy and reliability.
4. Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of new automation equipment and systems.
5. Report on equipment status, breakdowns, spare parts, and supply needs.
6. Conduct skill training for technicians and provide coverage for supervisor during emergencies.
7. Manage spare part usage and control costs within allocated budget.
8. Drive achievement of key plant targets including CSI, OEE, breakdown time, and online rejection rate.
9. Execute 5S practices, Kaizen programs, and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
10. Uphold safety and health standards during maintenance and cross-divisional activities.
