Job Description

OVERVIEW:

Lead and supervise a C&I team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in line with SOPs, company regulations, and quality standards. Align team performance to organizational goals through coaching, delegation, and structured guidance. Sustain and enhance control system and instrumentation performance (e.g., GSR, ASM, CDS, APM, glove puller, vision systems, etc.). Champion SHIELD values, ESG, 5S, and Ops Excellence culture.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Enforce company policies, rules, regulations, ISO 9001/GMP standards, safety, Covid measures, 5S, LOTO, and C&I maintenance SOPs, taking disciplinary action when needed. 
  2. Plan, organize, and execute workflow, including duty rosters, task delegation, breakdown rectification, scheduled maintenance, improvements, projects, and C&I system setup, testing, and calibration. 
  3. Lead and supervise operations to ensure breakdowns are addressed promptly, maintenance is safe, timely, and meets deadlines. 
  4. Verify and ensure maintenance checklists, spare parts, tools, and documentation are updated, controlled, and compliant with internal and external requirements. 
  5. Ensure C&I systems function properly and conduct annual spare replacements as required. 
  6. Initiate and execute continuous improvement actions, including breakdown and preventive maintenance, line scanning, and 5S practices. 
  7. Build a motivating work environment by guiding, coaching, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and promoting teamwork. 
  8. Prepare and submit reports on attendance, shift activities, breakdowns, and measurement data to superiors in a timely manner. 
  9. Conduct reviews and audits on WI, SOP, OPL, unsafe acts/conditions, Covid measures, 5S, and LOTO compliance. 
  10. Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to resolve operational issues, manage maintenance, handle complaints, and ensure safety and efficiency. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:  

  • Certificate/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, Mechatronic or equivalent. 

 

Work Experience:  

  • Minimum 3-4 years working with PLC (preferably SIEMENS) and instrumentation 
  • Have supervisory experiences. 
  • Preferably with working experience in manufacturing or similar industry 
  • PLC troubleshooting, wiring/loop drawing and programming. 

 

Technical and Professional Knowledge:  

  • Good leadership, supervisory and management skill. 
  • Good interpersonal, communication and human relation skill.  
  • Highly committed and responsible person. 
  • Good PLC knowledge and troubleshooting on control instrumentation and wiring/loop 
  • Good computer and Microsoft knowledge. 
  • Willing to work under pressure and multi-tasking 
  • Willing to work on shift rotation and re-designation 
  • Knowledge in 5S Concept & Implementation 
  • Knowledge in ISO Documentation Practice 
  • Exposure in Schedule Waste Management
