DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure former movement in and out from former store recorded to ensure accurate inbound and charged out quantity posted by subordinates.
- Follow up the former stock status as in quantity and status on Former Inventory System.
- To train up new staff until competent in former inventory handling task, preservation practice or any other guidance (if any).
- To coordinate and manage entire former activities from receiving until storing.
- To ensure all formers in store kept in proper storage, bins must be stored at designated location and to label with proper information on correct label.
- To maintain appropriate recording and to ensure upkeep the formers inventory from time to time.
- To deal with Former Operation Team to identify and remove problematic formers online by replacing with good formers in store.
- To prepare and unload formers at store to standby for daily former changing process.
- Analyse and feedback the current working method to superior for continuous improvement of workflow.
- To conduct appraisal for worker during probation period.
- To comply and work accordance to company’s rule and regulation.
- To implement random stock count and update in report, planning and supervise on monthly stock count to ensure no mistake made on stock count process.
- Monitor and follow up on overall store operation including former charge in/out, procurement, inventory-handling process, pull plastic for new formers.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Preferably with college diploma or extensive warehouse supervisory experience of not less than 5 years.
Work Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of warehouse experience and proficient in Warehouse Management System.
- Knowledge of standard practices, procedures, and equipment used in the receipt, storage, requisitioning, and disbursement of stocks & supplies.
- Knowledge of training and supervising techniques and employee policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
- Knowledge of labour relations, equal employment opportunity policies and procedures.
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
- Strong leadership skill and able to motivate others.
- Can build a team environment and effective relationship.
- Effective communication and strong organization skills.
- Know how prioritize workload, resourceful and attention to detail.
- Good in scheduling task to meet deadlines and possess good customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Applications, particularly Word & Excel and very familiar with WMS concept and application tools.
- Ability to instruct and supervise employees.
- Ability to control the disbursement of supplies and finished goods through directing the posting of inventory control cards or automated systems.
- Ability to maintain work schedules and uphold work standards.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate program and team performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to analyse and control inventory.
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
- Ability to identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is conducted and hold informational sessions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
- Constantly maintain 5S in work area.
- Performs related work as assigned.
