Job Description

OVERVIEW

  • Security Supervisor is to assist Security Executives in coordinating and overseeing the security guards in a building or within a designated area. Responsible focus on devising strategies appointing security guards/personnel’s and implementing protocols that would ensure the safety of and establishment, goods, and the people inside.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enforce Company Policies, Rules & Regulations and Security Procedures with full dedication and Affairs & Security.

  • Monitor and supervise all security guards assigned at factory & ensure they are performing according to their job descriptions.

  • Monitor and enforce that security guards are in strict compliance to disciplinary system.

  • Perform regular patrolling around premises to detect & report security threats and non-compliances to policies & procedures.

  • Monitor and detect for pilferages and sabotage to Company's asset / properties and operations report to Security Operation Team-HMR for action.

  • Carry out regular checks on perimeter fencing, gates, building doors and windows to detect any breach or Defects & needs to repair and ensure the security integrity of the premises.

  • Practice good public & inter-personal relations skills always and avoid personal conflict.

  • Carry out instructions from time-to-time Security Operation Team-HMR and to submit report.

  • Assist in promoting the good name of the Company as well as giving active support to goodwill initiatives of the Company.

  • Assess security threat to the Company from neighbouring communities and regularly report to Head-Community Affairs & Security.

  • Able to work on night shift as & when required.

  • Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Company.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Preferred at least pass SPM.

Work Experience:

  • Preferred 2 years’ relevant experience in in-house security.

  • Ex-police or army personnel preferred.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

  • Good leadership skills.

  • Good communication skills in BM & English.

  • Good investigate skills.

  • Highly committed & responsible.

  • Able to supervise and enforce security procedures.

  • Able to be actively involved in the monitoring and enforcing of security guards job performance and discipline.

  • Able to detect and report of pilferages, sabotage, disciplinary acts and non-compliance of Company's Policies, Rules & Regulations, and safety & security issues.

  • High in integrity and confidential ability.

  • Able to work long hours.
