SUPERVISOR - QUALITY ASSURANCE PLANT (LABORATORY) (EG05)

Job Description

Job Purpose

Manage daily laboratory operations, including manpower planning, testing, equipment maintenance, data handling, and safety compliance. Provide operational support to Production by monitoring process parameters, and assist Preshipment, Validation, and RND teams with sampling and testing activities.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee production laboratory testing to identify non-conformances and verify compliance with work instructions.

2. Implement quality system procedures and work instructions effectively in daily operations.

3. Report and escalate deviations or non-conformances identified during inspections.

4. Communicate with purchasing, warehouse, compounding, production, and RND teams on issues from daily testing.

5. Prepare and issue daily, weekly, and monthly reports on non-conformance cases and laboratory test updates.

6. Plan and coordinate laboratory activities, including manpower scheduling for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.

7. Verify and review test results performed by technicians to maintain reporting accuracy.

8. Manage laboratory chemical usage, segregation, labelling, and blending in compliance with 5S standards and cost control.

9. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring readiness for operations.

10. Provide training, monitor progress, and evaluate the performance of technicians, including new employees.

Qualification and Experience

1. Minimum SPM (Certificate / Diploma in Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Industrial Technology will be advantage) or relevant

2. Minimum 3 to 4 years of working experience in quality assurance or manufacturing environment

3. Good Communication Skills in both verbal and written' clear and easy to understand and include listening skills. (Both English and Bahasa Malaysia)

4. Supervisory skills.
