Job Description
Job Purpose
Supervise inspectors and monitoridaily tasks, including pre-shipment sampling and verification of inspections or tests. Support enforcement of company rules and regulations while ensuring compliance with ISO and GMP requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and coordinate pre-shipment inspections (internal, external, and marketing sample requisitions), including online sampling and shift-based planning.
2. Monitor calibration of measuring equipment and update inspection-related systems (SCM Tracker, e-SR, D365, CMMS).
3. Execute and verify watertight, visual, dimension, packing quantity, and weight tests of gloves.
4. Prepare and manage test pieces for physical property testing with QA support.
5. Record inspection data, prepare final reports, and ensure accurate daily updates on inspection status.
6. Maintain AGRR and GRR records for inspectors.
7. Receive and inspect packaging materials, monitor quality, and resolve packaging-related complaints.
8. Manage PSI replacement activities, including packaging and glove inventory.
9. Provide training, arrange manpower, monitor attendance and hygiene, and oversee subordinatesâ performance.
10. Coordinate with other departments (QAI, Lab, Packing, Shipping, Production, Warehouse, Sales) to support inspections and ensure customer samples and products are ready for release or external inspection.
Qualification and Experience
1. Minimum SPM (Certificate / Diploma in Science/ Engineering will be advantage) or relevant.
2. Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in quality assurance.
3. Good Communication Skills in both verbal and written, clear and easy to understand and include listening skills. (Both English and Bahasa Malaysia).
