Job Description
Job Purpose
Record and monitor former movements, update stock and labels, train staff, coordinate all former activities, replace damaged or problematic formers, conduct stock counts, analyse workflow, maintain 5S and safety standards, assist in appraisals, and oversee overall store operations.
Responsibilities
1. Record and monitor former movements in/out of the store to maintain accurate inventory postings.
2. Update stock status, labels, and locations using the Former Inventory System.
3. Train new staff on proper former handling, preservation, and SOP compliance.
4. Coordinate all former activities from receiving to storing, ensuring correct storage and labeling.
5. Identify and replace damaged or problematic formers and prepare stock for daily former changes.
6. Conduct random and monthly stock counts, verify quantities, and report updates to supervisors.
7. Analyse workflow, provide improvement feedback, and monitor FIFO implementation.
8. Maintain workplace cleanliness, 5S standards, visual management, and safety conditions.
9. Assist in staff appraisals and performance evaluations, including KPIs and competencies.
10. Oversee overall store operations, support inbound processes, and perform additional tasks as assigned by superior.
Qualification and Experience
1. Certificate or Diploma preferred; SPM with relevant warehouse supervisory experience of 5+ years may be considered.
2. Minimum 3-4 years of warehouse experience and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
3. Knowledge of standard warehouse operations, stock receipt, storage, requisition, disbursement, and associated equipment.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, supervise teams, and maintain employee development and training programs.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, familiar with WMS tools, and capable of maintaining inventory control, records, and reports.
6. Ability to prioritize workload, analyse inventory, monitor team performance, schedule tasks, and uphold workplace safety and 5S standards.
