Job Description

Job Purpose

Monitor and supervise inbound and disposal procedures, ensure accurate weighing and documentation, handle operational abnormalities, track subordinates’ performance, arrange manpower, conduct appraisals, enforce safety policies, and perform other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and supervise WHS_RCV Clerks to ensure supplier deliveries reach the correct end users.

2. Manage inbound project claims, contractor servicing, vendor claims, and SQL (Biomass) requirements.

3. Follow procedures for weighing containers, chemicals, cartons, scheduled and non-scheduled waste, supplier items, disposal items, latex, biomass, and courier items.

4. Ensure completeness and compliance of Disposal and Transfer Forms prior to submission, including verification of invoicing requirements.

5. Monitor daily import and scrap collection arrivals, including tracking of processing time and return of empty containers.

6. Respond to and resolve operational abnormalities such as rejected items, data entry errors, or inter-department complaints.

7. Track subordinates’ efficiency in handling inbound, outbound, reject, transfer, and returnable items.

8. Arrange manpower to ensure smooth receiving, weighing operations, and stock count cut-offs.

9. Conduct subordinates’ mid-term appraisals using KPIs and competencies.

10. Enforce safety policies, ensure transport activities meet defined SLA timelines, and maintain validity of weighbridge permits in compliance with regulatory requirements., and perform additional tasks as assigned by superior.

Qualification and Experience

1. Minimum Certificate or Diploma; SPM with relevant warehouse experience may also be considered.

2. Minimum 3-4 years of warehouse experience and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

3. Knowledge of standard warehouse operations, stock receipt, storage, requisitioning, disbursement, and related equipment.

4. Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise, motivate, and train staff; build effective team environments.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, familiar with WMS tools, and capable of maintaining inventory control, records, and reports.

6. Ability to prioritise workload, schedule tasks, analyse inventory, monitor team performance, uphold work standards, and maintain 5S and safety in the workplace.
