Job Description

Job Purpose

Manage material purchasing, inventory cycle counts, staff attendance, and warehouse documentation.

Maintain 5S and safety standards, oversee training schedules, and handle stationery, uniforms, and gifts.

Monitor invoices, SDS expiry, stock issuing, and equipment repairs, while performing other tasks assigned by the superior.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee Finished Goods (FG) store operations to maintain efficiency, compliance, and control.

2. Receive Finished Goods and verify quantity, product accuracy, and physical condition upon arrival.

3. Store Finished Goods in designated areas to prevent damage or contamination, and manage rejected goods and sample returns to production.

4. Inspect containers to confirm cleanliness, proper lining, and freedom from contaminants prior to FG loading.

5. Plan and coordinate FG loading activities based on delivery schedules and operational priorities.

6. Operate MS Word, Excel, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools for inventory and operational tracking.

7. Assign daily tasks, set work priorities, and guide storehand staff to meet operational requirements.

8. Control inventory by inspecting goods, resolving discrepancies, maintaining stock cards, and conducting counts or measurements.

9. Manage proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment and uphold 5S standards in the work area.

10. Drive warehouse improvement initiatives, conduct on-the-job training for storehand, and execute other duties assigned by the superior.

Qualification and Experience

1. Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or SPM with relevant working experience may be considered.

2. Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience; competency to be evaluated by the superior for foreign workers, with similar-role experience required for local workers.

3. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory methods, and material handling practices.

4. Ability to maintain inventory control systems, monitor stock levels, and manage inventory records accurately.

5. Proficient in scheduling tasks to meet operational deadlines.

6. Familiarity with basic warehouse documentation and reporting processes.
