Job Description
Job Purpose
Supervises in-process quality assurance on the production floor, ensuring gloves meet internal, regulatory, and customer standards. Lead QA teams across shifts, monitor defects in real-time, report data accurately, and implement corrective actions. The Supervisor ensures product consistency and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise QAI sampling according to SOPs and Work Instructions.
2. Verify watertight, visual, and dimension tests, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
3. Enforce proper segregation of finished goods in production, packing, and QAI areas.
4. Report and investigate deviations or nonconformities to Executive/Manager and monitor corrective actions.
5. Monitor QAI attendance, rest times, and adherence to company safety and health policies.
6. Provide guidance, training, and evaluations for subordinates, including inspectors and group leaders.
7. Monitor that timely and accurate compilation of inspection data are in compliance with GDP requirements.
8. Coordinate weekly activities, such as document retrieval, toolbox briefings, hygiene checks, and maintenance reporting.
9. Prepare monthly schedules, arrange manpower for reject glove handling, participate in stock take, and support audit preparation.
10. Conduct annual activities including SOJT/refresher training, competency assessments, HSE drills, and KPI briefings.
Qualification and Experience
1. Minimum SPM (Certificate / Diploma in Science/Engineering will be an advantage) or relevant.
2. Minimum 3 to 4 years of working experience in quality assurance.
3. Able to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and inspection guidelines.
4. Intermediate computer skills for data compilation and report generation (e.g., Excel, inspection templates).
5. Ability to analyze and solve problems related to QAI operations.
