Technician - Operational Excellence (Moonshine) (EG03)

Job Description

Job Purpose

Construct the Moonshine “Prototype – pipe and joints” in accordance with the required quality standards and the specifications outlined in the AutoCAD system.

Verify that all technical and design requirements are met to deliver a precise, compliant prototype.

Responsibilities

1. Organize daily workflow and communicate duties or delegated tasks clearly to all employees.

2. Lead the team to meet the approved customer request cycle time.

3. Direct the team to follow Moonshine work instructions and uphold all safety requirements.

4. Conduct regular 5S audits within the Moonshine area.

5. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

6. Address uncertain or abnormal situations in Moonshine and report critical issues to management immediately.

7. Coordinate cross-functional interactions to maintain smooth business and operational processes.

8. Optimize work practices to improve efficiency and maintain consistent output quality.

9. Evaluate team performance and identify opportunities for training or skill development.

10. Uphold compliance with operational standards, safety rules, and housekeeping requirements.

Qualification and Experience

1. Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

3. Experience in 5S, workplace management, and Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies is an added advantage.

4. Ability to interpret design drawings and technical details.

5. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software).
